of the Best.
Die-Hard Mainers, Passionate Brokers.
DOMAINE was born in 2002, inspired by a mission to reinvent real estate. What we've built since then is a passionate full-service residential and commercial real estate brokerage that challenges the status quo and always looks to do things better.
From using the latest digital tools to advancing our deep industry, market, and neighborhood knowledge, we reinvent ourselves every day so that our clients can rent, buy, and sell incredible Greater Portland homes.
Meet Our Rockstar Team
We've created a deep bench of awesome brokers & real estate professionals to deliver full service expertise across the real estate spectrum.
Chris has been buying/selling real estate for over 15 years and has personally purchased real estate to convert a multi-unit into condos, rehabbed and renovated over five properties, built a home from the ground up, and currently owns several rental properties. Through his professional and personal experience he has honed his skills, understanding the flow of the local real estate market, thus enabling him to help clients find the right time and property to invest in their future. It is of no surprise that Chris has been in the top 2% of Agents in Maine for the majority of his career.
A true Mainer (technically requiring at least three generations of family born in Maine!) matched with charisma and a good ‘ol New England work ethic, Chris has developed a extensive network of relationships — you might say he’s the Kevin Bacon of Portland, as it is difficult to find anyone with more than 2 degrees of separation from him.
Some would argue that Chris works 24 hours a day, but he can often be found mixing work with pleasure while trolling for fish in the bay, shredding moguls on his tele skis, nose riding his longboard along the Maine coast, captaining the infamous Strikes of Hazard bowling team, or adventuring with his partner in crime, Danielle, and their two young boys.
Associate Broker / Buyer Specialist
Rachel was born and raised in the small coastal community of Rockland, Maine. Aside from a short 2 year stint in New Hampshire [which solidified her need to be in Portland], she has always lived in Maine— she’s a die-hard-Mainer. Rachel, her husband, and two daughters currently live in the Back Cove neighborhood. Whilst Rachel has lived in Maine the majority of her life, she constantly appreciates that there are still endless places to explore.
For Rachel, real estate is really a combination of all of her passions: education, interior design, and people. Prior to becoming a real estate agent she was an elementary teacher. When Rachel decided to become a realtor, she realized she could combine all of her skills into one career. She is able to educate people about the home buying process, help buyers to see a vision within a home, and transform her clients’ desire of owning a home into a reality.
Associate Broker / Director of Leasing / Buyer Specialist
Ethan was born and raised in Eliot, Maine. After gaining a degree in Biology and experiencing the life of a ski-bum in Lake Tahoe for a year, he was inspired by friends in the Real Estate industry and decided that becoming a broker was the next mountain he would conquer. Having taken several trips across the country, he knew returning to his Maine roots was what needed to be done. So Ethan and his 110 lb. Bernese Mountain Dog moved to Maine and have been kicking butt in Real Estate ever since. Oakley (his dog) is the official Director of Stress Relief at DOMAINE’s office.
Associate Broker / Lead Buyer Specialist
Derek comes to the Domaine Group with 15 years of experience in the music industry negotiating contracts for internationally known artists like Ray Lamontagne, John Fogerty, Guster, Soulive and more. A fixture as an artist manager and promoter in the Portland music scene, Derek has organized thousands of concerts in venues such as One Longfellow Square, The Maine State Pier and the Civic Center.
Derek has successfully transferred his skill set to Real Estate, advocating fiercely for his clients at every step of the transaction. Currently hovering in the top 15 percent in sales volume for all agents statewide, Derek gets deals done for his buyers even in a tough market.
When not in the office or at a showing, Derek enjoys dusting off his vast record collection and spending time on the island of Vinalhaven with his wife Mali.
Sarah grew up in the White Mountains of New Hampshire as the youngest of eight kids. After starting out as a glass artist after college, she went on to lead volunteer trail crews for high school kids with the Student Conservation Association. She then worked in the Appalachian Mountain Club's High Mountain Huts and then ran her own personal chef/catering business for twelve years.
Whether it's cooking meals or finding the perfect house, Sarah loves working with people to figure out exactly what they are looking for in order to give the best possible service.
Sarah, her husband, and their two teenage children live in Portland’s Rosemont neighborhood, and they couldn’t love it more!
Grace is a Maine transplant, relocating from the coastal town of Stonington, Connecticut in 2011. Being a die-hard New Englander, she has an interest in marine life and boating and has always loved living near the water. So, when the opportunity arose, moving to Maine was a no-brainer.
Grace has a background in restaurant management and her career has spanned over 18 years at different levels of management including General Manager and District Manager roles from Foxwoods Resort and Casino in CT to Panera Bread in ME. Seeking a change from the food service industry, Grace decided to make the transition to real estate.
Being a realtor allows Grace to do what she loves- work with people and guide them through one of the most exciting times in their lives as well as be a fierce advocate for her clients to ensure they get the best service possible.
Grace lives in West Falmouth with her husband and their two daughters. She spends her free time knitting, taking pottery classes and hiking and hanging out at the lake with her family.
Associate Broker / Inside Sales Agent
Originally from the greater Boston area, Seth made his move to Portland in 2007. Since then he has made an exciting career in both real estate and music. Seth has worked multiple aspects of the real estate world including buying, selling, and as an Inside Sales Agent. Most weekends you will find him performing all around the state, singing weddings and functions with the "Jim Ciampi Band", or playing in the Dueling Piano Show "Keys To The City 2 Go". In both careers Seth is fueled by a sincere desire to help and engage people whenever possible.
Marketing & Administrative Manager
Shannon was born and raised in South Carolina, but after testing life in Hawaii and Minnesota she decided residing in Maine was the right fit—it’s “the way life should be” after all! Her favorite things about Maine are the smells, sights and sounds of the ocean.
Shannon was DOMAINE’s very first employee and, since then, has basically become the Chief Executive of Everything in the office. This ability and desire to tackle a wide range of interests extends past her role within the company—Shannon earned a degree in Japanese Language and Literature, owns and operates a real estate photography business with her brother-in-law, studies Sogetsu Ikebana (Japanese flower arranging) in Boston, lives in a recording studio with her best friend/spouse, and helps plan/run events for the Japan America Society of Maine.
Marji was born and raised in a little town called Hartford in the western foothills of Maine. She moved down to the “Big City” (actually... South Portland) in 2008, where she’s found the perfect balance between having urban culture/entertainment/opportunities and small town feel.
Marji is an INFJ (a rare personality type making up less than one percent of the population), Scorpio, unofficial Team Cheerleader, and daily music DJ at DOMAINE (she also plays the ukulele, although not at the office). Having been awarded “Most Likely to Be Famous” and “Prom Princess” in high school, not to mention recognition for Excellence in Visual & Performing Arts in college, it is of no mistake that Marji has been placed front and center in the (backstage) workings at DOMAINE.
Born and raised in Virginia outside Washington DC, Sam has since bebopped all along the east coast until finally escaping to the peace and awesomeness of Portland, Maine. Currently, Sam lives in North Deering with her bearded husband, her spunky young son, and her pesky cat.
Creative by nature, Sam earned an art degree from George Mason University and has put her skills to good use in event planning, floral design, graphic design, sock design, home staging, and web design. As a kid, she and her mom spent many weekends strolling through Open Houses and this led to her love of real estate, home design and eventually to joining the DOMAINE team in 2015. Now Sam spends her work days scrolling through Maine Real Estate Property Listings preparing, inputting and marketing property listings for DOMAINE clients (while also daydreaming of getting rid of her belongings and moving into a tiny-house— really tiny, like 400sqft!).
